Meet Me at The Labyrinth – MLK Day Celebration
Meetup Spot: 1407 Valentine, Houston, Texas 77019

Take some time on your day off from school to really celebrate the work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and to think about how you might be called into the same mission of liberation in your own context. We will join with others in the community to give thanksgiving for the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a prayer walk on the Freedmen’s Town labyrinth, followed by a visit to the Gregory School Museum (two blocks away from the labyrinth) and a late lunch at Reggae Hut (814 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77004). Houston Canterbury will pick up the cost of lunch for student participants.
