The Gathering is an evening service of Christian worship in the Episcopal tradition, followed by community time around the table with a delicious and hot meal. All are welcome: friends, family, community members, and students.
Sunday, November 4: Homemade food and a little Get-Out-The-Vote Phone Banking following the service.
Sunday, November 11: Homemade food and conversation about family systems theory and navigating family stuff during the holidays.
Sunday, November 18: Guest preacher: Ryan Hawthorne, service to be followed by a “friendsgiving” meal. Bring a dish of your favorite something.
Sunday, November 25: Advent wreath-making following the service.
Mondays: Swing by The Living Room (room 205 at the AD Bruce Religion Center) between 10 am and 4 pm to take care of your FAFSA, attend to your financial wellness, or do a time management review.
EAT. PRAY. GO. (TSU), 9-11 am: Swing by St. Luke the Evangelist (on the Rosedale side) on your way to class for some free breakfast eats and beverages and a little time to pray or check-in.
Grace Hour at Bohemeo’s (708 Telephone Rd), 7-8:30 pm, November 6, 13, 27: Grace Hour is your weekly time to check-in and to explore your faith from the foundation up. Have you ever wanted to get to know the Bible better, but you weren’t quite sure how to go about it? Join us for dinner on Canterbury.
FREE Lunch at the AD Bruce Religion Center (UH), 11:30 am – 1 pm: Every week you can depend on FREE lunch at the AD Bruce. Drop in, make new friends, and eat free.

TSU GroupChat in the Student Center, 1-2 pm: TSU GroupChat is a weekly small group. This semester, we will be exploring taboo topics in scripture, which often divide communities. Be prepared for some challenging conversations and get curious about what the Bible has to say about [insert taboo topic here].

The Skeptics Supper Club is a monthly small group that comes together over dinner to discuss those questions that you might be afraid are too irreverent, too basic, or too out-of-bounds. Dinner is provided by Canterbury. Topic: The New Testament and Anti-Semitism

Ladies’ Night SE is a group for young women that meets in homes on the southeast side of Houston to learn to do the work of “adulting” together as Christians.
