This month, Guys’ Night will gather at a new location with better parking. Guys’ Night is a time for us guys to get together to eat, pray and talk. It’s a place to discuss the things that are happening in our lives: the good, the bad, and the everyday stuff.

Ladies’ Night West, October 12, 7-9 pm: 4238 Yupon Ridge Dr., Houston, TX 77072
Ladies’ Night West is a new group for young women that meets in homes on the west side of Houston to learn to do the work of “adulting” together as Christians. At this gathering, our theme will be: Boundaries and Conflict: Living as Strangers, Living Connected. Join us for dinner and discussion at Sylvia’s house as we go deeper into conversation. Friends are welcome!

The Rev. Francene Young, Rector of St. Luke the Evangelist, will be celebrating and preaching.  Come and hear a good word, and be together at table for dinner.

On Sunday, October 21, 6:30-8:30 pm, Bishop Fisher will be joining us at The Gathering at St. Luke the Evangelist to celebrate and preach and party with us.  Even if The Gathering is not the normal way you connect to Houston Canterbury, we hope that you will mark your calendars to be there for some great conversation and quality time with the bishop.
