Ladies’ Night SE is a group for young women that meets in homes on the southeast side of Houston to learn to do the work of “adulting” together as Christians. On Sunday, October 7, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, at The Gathering, we will have a special Eucharist and celebration shaped by Hispanic Heritage Month and the theme of that day’s reading from Hebrews, Pioneers in Faith and Sacrifice (Heb 2:10). Maria Bautista Vargas will be preaching, and the music and liturgy will reflect the 1.5/2nd generation Latino experience, as we give thanks for those who have been pioneers in faith and sacrifice in our own lives. All are welcome!
