August 3, 7-8:30 pm: Ladies’ Night SE at 4406 W. Grant St, Deer Park, TX 77536
Ladies’ Night is a group for young women, which meets in the homes of members on the southeast side of town.  This summer we having conversations with some amazing female leaders in the church about authority, identity, and the hopeful vision that keeps them going.

August 4, 8-11 pm: Shakespeare in the Park at Miller Outdoor Theater
Bring chairs, beverages, and a blanket and join us on the hill at Miller Outdoor Theater in Hermann Park to enjoy Hamlet.  Friends and family are of course welcome.

August 9, 7-8:30 pm: The Skeptics Supper Club at La Madeleine, 10001 Westheimer
The Skeptics Supper Club is a monthly small group that comes together over dinner to discuss those questions that you might be afraid are too irreverent, too basic, or too out-of-bounds. Join us. Dinner is on Canterbury.  Our Topic: Faith, Science, and Knowing Things

August 19, 6:30-8:30 pm: The Gathering at St. Luke the Evangelist, 3530 Wheeler Ave, Houston, TX 77004
The Gathering is an evening service of Christian worship in the Episcopal tradition, followed by community time around the table with a delicious and hot meal.  All are welcome: friends, family, community members, and students.

August 22, 11:30-12:30 pm: FREE Lunch at the AD Bruce Religion Center begins
Did you know that every Wednesday throughout the school year, you can find free lunch at the AD Bruce Religion Center at the University of Houston?  Join us if you are hungry.  Sit down.  Check in.  Breathe.

Stop as you are walking by the patio at St. Luke the Evangelist and pick up some free breakfast and a prayer as a new semester begins.

August 28, 7-8:30 pm: Grace Hour at Bohemeo’s (708 Telephone Rd Suite E)
Grace Hour is a weekly gathering for checking in, Bible or book study in community, and staying attuned to the movement of the Spirit in our lives.  Dinner is on Canterbury.

August 30, 8-9 am: UH Faculty/Staff Morning Prayer & Breakfast in the Canterbury Suite (Rm 205) at the AD Bruce Religion Center
Non-Episcopalians and Episcopalians alike are welcome.  Bring a colleague to share in the beauty of Morning Prayer and the goodness of breakfast.

August 31 – September 1: Leadership Team Retreat (details coming soon)
