Looking for a way to start the new year?
Wanting to focus on self-reflection and spirituality in a supportive and safe space?

51yM+urR9QL._AA300_UH Wellness and Houston Canterbury are excited to be launching a four-part book discussion series based on Dr. Brene Brown’s book The Gifts of Imperfection to begin in February.  In this work, Brown encourages readers to explore how we can cultivate courage, compassion, and connection on a daily basis as a way to improve our lives and embrace that not being perfect is perfectly acceptable!  The series, called The Gifts of Imperfection: Practices for Imperfect People will center on discussion of the major themes of the book, along with development of practices that participants can use in their everyday lives.

Participation is open to any UH undergraduate or graduate student, and all participants will receive a FREE copy of the book along with dinner at each discussion group.  Our discussion group will meet Wednesdays from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Impact Room in the Student Center Room, which is within the student organization carrel space.  Meeting dates are as follows: February 7, February 14, February 21 and February 28.

Pre-registration is required, and is available here: https://goo.gl/forms/FoHo5crKcVV7HTyv2.
