“For God did not give you a spirit of fear, but rather a spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline.” 2 Tim 1:7

These are fearful times for many minority communities, but especially for those who live in immigrant communities where many face challenges because of their status and documentation.  Do you wonder how you can make a difference in your local community?  How can you speak to your state legislators or national legislators?  How can you become more informed about the issues that effect your friends and family?

Operation Fearless is designed to help you answer these questions and become part of a difference-making community.  Operation Fearless is a collaborative effort between Mi Familia Vota and the Episcopal Church with the goal of increasing civic engagement among young adults, especially those who live and work in immigrant communities here in the Houston area.  Participants will attend monthly training sessions over the course of the fall and begin to take action in their local communities.
