On Good Friday, Houston Canterbury will team up with St. Luke the Evangelist Episcopal Church and Tour de Hood to take the Stations of the Cross on the road in the Third Ward.  Bring a bike or borrow one from Tour de Hood, and travel with us as we connect the way of the cross with lived experience of struggle and redemption.

When:  April 14, 2-5 pm
Where:  Meetup at the courtyard of St. Luke the Evangelist Episcopal Church, 3530 Wheeler Ave., 77004
What should I bring: A bike (or email eobrien@houstoncanterbury.org to arrange to borrow one), a helmet, your ID, your health insurance card.  We will provide snacks and water.  Be prepared to fill out a release form when you arrive.
How long is the route?  The route, designed to be accessible to fairly new riders, is no more than 3.5 miles, and there will be fairly frequent stops along the way for reflection on the Stations.
What’s the timeline?
2:00 pm – Gather in the St. Luke’s courtyard for bike setup and riding safety instruction from our Tour de Hood leader.
2:45 pm – Opening Prayer and Roll Out.
4:30 pm – Back to St. Luke’s for closing reflection.
5:00 pm – Go in peace.
Who can I contact to find out more?  The Rev. Eileen O’Brien at eobrien@houstoncanterbury.org, or Marcia Sadberry on Sunday at St. Luke’s.
